Overwhelming support After eight years of being in the market and becoming a global brand, exocad organised a global event for dentists and dental technicians for the first time. Held in November, it was a sold out two- day event attended by more than 570 participants from all over the world. The amount of support received by exocad from all their partners and customers came as a pleasant surprise to Mr. Savic. The company was initially only expecting around 500 guests. “At most of the dental events I’ve attended, the majority of the crowd would comprise locals from the country where the event is held. In our case, we were expecting 80% of our guests to be German but the majority turned out to be foreign guests from other countries. Overall, the exocad Insights 2018 saw an overwhelming and interesting turnout,” shared Mr. Savic excitedly. Currently, exocad has over 150 international partners worldwide and 24 of them, namely Amann Girrbach, Align, Medit, Shining 3D, CIM System, Elos Medtech, imes-icore, Nobil-Metal, smart optics, BEGO, CADstar, Carestream, Dental Direkt, DGSHAPE, DOF, envisionTEC, Formlabs, Imetric, Infinident, NextDent, Open Technologies, Schütz Dental, vhf and Wacom were present at the exocad Insights to show their support and present their latest innovations and solutions in digital dentistry. “We are greatly honoured that our partner companies were present to showcase all their new accomplishments, developments and technology. Let us take Shining 3D as an example. They officially showcased their very first intraoral scanner at exocad Insights. Here at the event, we are the connecting element of the whole ecosystem.
