He thought to himself, “This is the future,” which sealed his decision to specialise in implants. Upon graduation, Dr. Weigl wanted to seek answers to issues that dental practitioners were facing, “When you work in a dental clinic, your focus is the patients and the economic situation. You’ll not have the time to develop new therapy concepts.” And so, he took the leap into academia, which today sees him as the head of Department of Postgraduate Education & programme director of Master in Oral Implantology at Goethe Dental School in Frankfurt, Germany.
